Alumni Transcript/Diploma and Verification Requests

Minneapolis Public Schools can send high school transcripts electronically, securely and confidentially, to colleges or anywhere you choose, through Parchment.

Alumni can request a transcript or diploma and designate the academic institution, organization, or individual for which they would like to receive.

Please select "New Learner Account" if you are a student or alumni requesting via Parchment. Third-party accounts are for verification companies/schools etc.

When requesting transcripts, you do NOT need to request from multiple schools. All MPS high schools a student has attended will appear on one transcript. All transcripts will be issued from the school last attended.

Request Timeline

Users are be notified when their request is complete and can also track the status of their request or view a saved copy of their transcript.
Diplomas can take up to one week to be mailed. You will receive an email once the diploma is in the mail. This includes in-person requests.
For transcript requests 1993 - 2022, please expect a 1-3 day wait for processing.
For records 1992 and before, please expect a 1-2 week wait for processing.

Please DO NOT email social security numbers or card payment information. MPS cannot process any electronic payments.

GED

All GED records go to the MN Department of Education. Please visit the Minnesota Department of Education website instructions.
